Apple iPad 2 Design Compromises: 10 Key Missing Features

The iPad 2, which was unveiled on March 2, is scheduled to hit store shelves on March 11. And when it does, consumers and even some enterprise customers will likely jump at the chance to get their hands on the updated tablet. To some folks, the device delivers an outstanding value proposition. For the same price as its predecessor, it comes with a dual-core processor, dual cameras, the customer's choice of a white or black finish, and a slightly updated operating system. It's a noticeable step up over the original iPad. But what about all those features that it's lacking? The device still doesn't have an SD card slot. And all the talk of an improved display turned out to be little more than false rumors. Apple's iPad 2 might be an update, but it's not as big of a jump over its predecessor as some want to believe.
